Ocean Lodge 5km winter series – Choose from 1 race or all 4, starting on the 4th July from the Ocean Lodge and consecutive 11, 18 and 25 July. The Wizard of Oz – From 25-29 July and 1-4 August starting at 7.00 pm. Tickets are $27 for Adults, $5 for children and $56 for a family pass (4 people). Titled Vienna, this night will wow you with guest conductor John Rimmer and will feature violin concerto soloist John Thomson and focus on works from Viennese composers. Nelson Symphony Orchestra – Saturday the 30th June starting 7.30 pm at the Nelson Centre of Musical Arts. Surrounded by the cherry blossoms there will be music, food and entertainment galore. Held on September 23rd from 11.30 am, this even celebrates the culture of our sister city in Japan.
